Made in a traditional way, this paper has a harmonious natural grain on a cylindrical shape. Thanks to this method, the fibers are distributed evenly, the paper unfolds evenly when wet. Its composition with long fibers of 100% cotton gives the paper its strength, beauty, a natural, lasting whiteness and an inimitable note.

This preserves the gloss and transparency of the colors and at the same time prevents colors from penetrating the paper. It allows the superimposition of washes and adds strength to resist erasure and scratching without tearing or linting. It also allows colors to be removed either wet or dry, making the whiteness of the paper easily visible. ARCHES® Watercolor Paper can absorb a large amount of water with limited deformation.
