Kremer Linseed Oil, refined (73300)
Size: 1 l
Linseed Oil, refined varnish oil, bleached linseed oil Refined linseed oil is pale yellow in color. It is extracted using higher pressure than cold pressed as well as heat. It too, dries to a hard, durable film. Though it appears lighter in color, it will yellow over time to the same degree as cold-pressed, so color changes can appear more significant.   Chemical description Refined linseed oil. CAS No. 8001-26-1, EINECS 232-278-6 Form liquid Solubility in water not very miscible Boiling point > 350°C   Handling and Warnings CAUTION: Materials impregnated with oil may spontaneously combust (auto-oxidation). Gamblin Safflower Oil
Size: 250 ml
Safflower Oil To paint solvent-free, we recommend Gamblin Safflower Oil for cleaning brushes while you are working. After your painting session, brushes can be further cleaned using Gamsol and/or soap and water. Gamblin Safflower Oil is a pale, slow-drying oil. When used as a painting medium, Safflower Oil to colors increases flow and slows dry times. Use sparingly or mix with an equal amount Gamsol to create a traditional slow-drying, low-viscosity painting medium. SDS

Kremer Poppy Oil (73600)
Size: 250 ml
Poppy Oil   Order number: 73600 pure, refined Poppy oil yellows considerably less than linseed oil. It maintains its consistency better when ground into thick, buttery oil paint (makes a nice short paint). Poppy oil can mitigate the fast drying effect of some pigments to reduce internal tensions in drying times of a paint layer. Excellent to use for wet-in-wet painting. Poppy oil does not, however, become as hard when dry as other oils. It shouldnt be used on fat, nonabsorbent grounds. Paintings done in poppy oil, especially with a heavier application, should be left unvarnished. Our poppy oil is filtered, refined, and acid reduced.     Chemical description Papaver Orientale (poppy) seed oil: 100 %. CAS No. 95193-58-1, EINECS 305-870-8 Form liquid Solubility in water insoluble Boiling point > 350°C   Handling and Warnings CAUTION: Materials impregnated with oil may spontaneously combust (auto-oxidation). Kremer Leinol Standol (73200)
Size: 250 ml
