The canvas panel consists of a 3mm MDF panel, covered with an acid-free cotton, which is primed with a universal primer (Gesso) and therefore suitable for all painting techniques. The board is lightweight, but very sturdy and stable in shape, making it ideal for thick paint application or a powerful painting style. It is an inexpensive alternative to canvas and popular for sketches. The sides of the Maltafel are not covered with cotton. Each board is individually packed.
