Acrylic Artist Color contains one of the most extensive ranges of pure pigments available for fine art, in a 100% acrylic resin dispersion. The colors offer the highest degree of permanence and lightfastness. Following traditional methods, most of the colors in the range have been formulated with just one pigment, resulting in maximum purity and color strength and giving the artist complete control over his material in mixtures and compositions. The pigments are indicated on the label and in the color chart.
If the nature of a color requires a formulation with more than one pigment, this is clearly indicated. (See also "Chemical Composition" and "Color Index") The color range consists of cadmium and cobalt pigments, organic pigments, natural earth colors and synthetic iron oxides, which are opaque or transparent depending on their nature; each formula has been individually developed to bring out the specific properties of each pigment. The palette includes two titanium white pigments, rutile for its whiteness and opacity, and anatase for its quality in mixtures and for achieving pastel shades.
