You need something special to bond Styrofoam®. Pattex special adhesive Styrofoam® not only ensures the desired adhesive strength. It is also safe and very easy to use. And it leaves no traces after hardening.

1. Apply Pattex special adhesive Styrofoam evenly to both bonding surfaces - especially on the edge zones - using a fine toothed spatula or brush. Do not dilute the adhesive.
2. Before joining the surfaces together, the solvent must be allowed to dry evenly for approx. 5-10 minutes (at 18-25°C).
3. After drying, there must be closed, visible adhesive films on the bonding surfaces. Large-pored or absorbent surfaces may need to be coated several times. The aired adhesive film must feel dry before joining. The film must not stick or pull threads when touched with a finger.
4. The two parts must be carefully placed together to ensure a perfect fit, as corrections are no longer possible once the two adhesive films have touched. The parts are then pressed together briefly - but extremely firmly. The final strength of the bond is not determined by the duration of the pressure but by the level of pressure. To avoid air pockets, press from the middle. Press carefully in the edge area and on the edges.
