This effect paint creates the popular crackle look - for a worn or "used look". Application requires prior priming of the surface with Montana GOLD (recommended) or Montana WHITE. After extensive application (in a criss-cross pattern) of the CRACKLE Effect Spray on the primed surface, the cracking process begins. The pre-coat should dry for at least 45 minutes but no longer than 24 hours. The CRACKLE Effect paint itself has a high covering power and can be painted over with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, Montana WHITE, Montana ACRYLIC markers and inks as well as normal acrylic paints after it has completely dried (at least 24 hours).
The CRACKLE Effect spray is available in 6 RAL colors:
gentian blue (RAL 5010),
patina green (RAL 6000),
squirrel grey (RAL 7000),
copper brown (RAL 8004),
pure white (RAL 9010)
and traffic black (RAL 9017).
